Since 2005, the Campaign for Community Wellness has been working to transform mental health services delivery in Placer County through community-based, recovery focused, innovate approaches.
Driving the Campaign for Community Wellness is a Steering Committee, comprised of a committed group of community members, agencies, family members, consumers. With the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) as their guiding link, the group works to:
- Build wellness in community
- Advocate for constituencies
- Promote peer-focused services
- Evaluate community needs
- Build community capacity
- Provide solutions for communities
- Share Information about mental health and wellness
