Volunteer Village Opportunities
Volunteers recruited from local community working with
local Family Resource Centers located in Auburn, Colfax, and
Roseville. Volunteers choose from a variety of service opportunities
and receive training to provide support to children and families.
Opportunities include: Early Literacy Specialist, Marriage Mentor,
Parent Home Visitor, Tutoring Specialist.

Being an involved parent in your child’s education
will encourage them to be more successful in school and life.
The Auburn Family Resource Center is offering a program that
will guide you to become a strong parent in your child’s
school by discussing topics such as: Parent Teacher Conferences,
Legal Rights and Responsibilities, Structure of Schools, College
Bound.
When: last Wednesday of every month until May 2008
